SHARMANE'S YOUTH WORKSHOPS/SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES
“It’s funny how people try so hard to fit in with the crowd, when our true purpose in life is to stand out.” This workshop/school assembly, presented by performing artist/speaker SHARMANE, is a journey of spiritual self-discovery that combines the Catechism of the Catholic Church with illustrative examples of application in everyday life. Through this presentation, attendees will be introduced to different topics that will assist them on becoming the “whole” person that God intended them to be.

(A high school youth workshop presented by Sharmane)
FIND ME
(Getting to the heart of who you are!)
Topics include self-esteem, image perception, and examination of conscience…
CLEANSE ME
(Wash away my sin. Protect me from temptation. I long for your grace and forgiveness.)
Topics include peer pressure, teasing/bullying, and gossip/rumors…
TAKE ME THERE
(Be the difference!)
Topics include identifying your inner spirit/gifts/talents, discipleship, and community service…
This workshop was created as a half day program for high school/teenage youth, but it can also be used in a weekend retreat setting or a high school assembly program. The breakdown of this workshop for each topic presented will include the following:
SHARMANE opens with praise & worship music (10 minutes)
Introduction & Overview (5 minutes)
SHARMANE teaches about each topic using illustration techniques (20 minutes)
Students break into small groups for worksheets and discussion (15 minutes)
SHARMANE returns with a wrap up, song and related devotional or prayer (10 minutes)

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE
(A middle school youth assembly program designed for schools by Sharmane)
This program is aimed at students ages 10-13. The focus of the program rotates around issues that are relative to “tweenagers” with a big emphasis on peer pressure and image perception. The goal of this program is to help middle school aged kids see their true gifts just as God sees them and encourages them to use these gifts as they serve their community.
SHARMANE opens with praise & worship music (5-10 minutes)
Introduction & Overview (5 minutes)
SHARMANE speaks on various topics using illustration techniques (30 minutes)
SHARMANE closing thoughts and related devotional or prayer (5-10 minutes)
SHARMANE and students perform closing song (5-10 minutes)
Sharmane Adams is a Catholic singer, songwriter and speaker who lives her life as “a spiritual champion for faith and family”. She performs and speaks at numerous church events and conferences which she caters according to her audience whether it is a youth event, a women's retreat, a fund raising/benefit event or a family-friendly community event. Through these opportunities Sharmane hopes to open the eyes of your heart to God and to help YOU to find that “on-fire” feeling of faith.
